Job Title: Golf Shop Assistant

Location: Scrabo Golf Club

Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (must be flexible to work various shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings)

**About Us:**

Scrabo Golf Club is a prestigious golf club known for its exceptional facilities and commitment to providing an outstanding experience for members and guests alike. We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Shop Assistant.

**Responsibilities:**

- Assist customers with enquiries, purchases, green fees and equipment rentals in the pro shop.

- Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive and memorable experience for all our existing members and visitors.

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pro shop area, including merchandise displays, tea/coffee station and inventory management.

- Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system 

- Process end of day procedures accurately and efficiently.

- Assist with organising and coordinating golf events, tournaments, and visitors as needed.

- Support the Club Council and other staff members in various tasks to ensure smooth operations.

- Assist the office with administrative duties when required.

**Requirements:**

- Previous retail or customer service experience preferred.

- Knowledge of golf equipment and accessories is advantageous but not required.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekdays, weekends, and evenings.

- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow within the role.
